Some pretty exciting experiences await thrill seeking travelers to Singapore. Here are a few that you cant miss if you’re planning a hair-raising holiday.
1 : Have you ever tried to Wakeboard?
What is a Wakeboard anyway? Well its cooler than water skiing that’s for sure. You’re practically skateboarding on the surface of the water at crazy speed pulled by a speedboat or jetski on a cool board that looks like a hover-board. Don’t worry, they’ll give first timers instructions and assistance, but be ready for the ride of your life. Check out the Seabreeze Watersports and Wavehouse on Sentosa island. There are plenty of other thrills to enjoy on Siloso beach too. Grab a water Jetpack at Ola beach club and give yourself a taste of the future while flying 30 feet above the water. Here too you will be given instructions by a certified instructor so just go for it.
2 : Sky Diving
Take a break to appreciate the great cityscape of Singapore and try out some new food as well. Have your fill, but preferably not before you try your hand at Indoor sky diving. Yes, that sentence totally makes sense in Singapore. The iFly is the largest themed wind tunnel with an acrylic wall boasting of a great view of the South China Sea. It’s completely safe and offers you the chance to experience free fall and other movements like formation sky-diving.
3: The G-Max Reverse Bungy and the GX-5 Extreme Swing
Your extreme sports adventure in Singapore will be incomplete without a stop here. Located at Clark Quay, right by the river, the sight of the 5 huge towers by the river should spark the adrenaline long before you strap yourself into the harness. The GX- 5 extreme swing and the G Max Reverse bungy tech is brought to you from the land of adventure sports, New Zealand. The extreme swing can reach speeds of 120 KPH, and the G-Max can go up to a height of 60 mtrs with an acceleration of 5G! They boast a 100% safety record too. The reverse bungy is under maintenance at the moment as I write this, but it should be back in action soon.
4 : Singapore Grand Prix
Formula 1 racing enthusiasts will go crazy at the opportunity to race one of those sports cars. Believe me this would be an awesome experience to gift someone, or yourself too! Rev up the engine and race a Ferrari California or Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder down F1 street circuit route. If you prefer you can be driven around by an experienced professional instead. Check the dates for the Grand Prix and if you time your holiday perfectly you can even attend one of the races. Tickets can be bought on their site.
Singapore is a fantastic destination to explore a vibrant city and just let yourself go. Go on, have the time of your life!
